Jiří Netík is a Czech sculptor, woodcarver and restorer who lives and works in Brno and Slavonice.

Invitation to a lecture on the memorial to the victims of war
Dear guests,
This Thursday, 26 February 2026, at 6 p.m., we are organising a lecture by renowned historian Mgr. Libor Svoboda, Ph.D., for history enthusiasts and anyone else who is interested. The lecture will focus on the memorial near the Flop shop, which originally dates back to the period after the First World War. The lecture will take place on the first floor of the Krone (Koruna) Cultural Centre in the cinema hall. Thanks to the lecturer's research and expertise, we will have the opportunity to learn objectively about what life was like and how the fallen citizens of the Neubistritz region were commemorated between the two world wars. Come and be surprised – we look forward to seeing you there.
