44,115 crowns for Honzík Šána from Nová Bystřice

44,115 crowns – that is the impressive result of our punch and charity stand, which you could visit in front of the Waldhotel Peršlák during Advent 2025 until 6 January 2026.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all supporters who purchased small souvenirs at our charity stand in exchange for a donation. Slowly but surely, our little punch stand is becoming a wonderful Advent tradition.
In 2023, our guests donated 23,266 crowns to little Julinka from Neubistritz, and in 2024, 35,562 crowns to Vojtěch Opelka, also from Neubistritz.
Special thanks go to the visitors of our wood carving symposium, which we organised together with Waldviertel Exklusiv from Heidenreichstein, who contributed to this fantastic donation result with part of their voluntary admission fee of 15,000 crowns.
Another long-standing major donor is the Lamprecht family from Heidenreichstein, who supported us with 400 euros – thank you very much!
Our punch stand is a popular meeting place in winter for many Neubistritz residents, as well as for guests from Litschau, Heidenreichstein, Neunaus and the surrounding area. We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again.
The original target of around 30,000 korunas to purchase a special mattress with a compressor for Honzík Šána was exceeded by far. We are sure that he will also be able to put the additional amount to good use.
As usual, the entire donation amount was handed over to the municipal office after Epiphany and given to Ms Lenka Böhmová, who will forward the money to the Šána family.

Guest of honour

What an honour: on the first day of his well-deserved retirement, Mr Malzer, the now former landlord of Hirschenschlag, visited us at the Waldhotel Peršlák.
I have known his restaurant since my youth – I was a guest there as a teenager around 40 years ago. And now, at the age of 82, Mr Malzer has entered his well-deserved retirement.
Such a lifetime achievement, characterised by diligence, reliability, genuine hospitality and decades of table service, is anything but commonplace today. This kind of work-life balance through work, dedication and efficiency is very rare indeed.
Dear Mr Malzer,
on behalf of the entire team at the Waldhotel Peršlák, we wish you many, many, many healthy and fulfilling years in your well-deserved retirement.

New Year's Eve

Once again, we have enjoyed a wonderful New Year's Eve – and now have a new year ahead of us that we hope will be just as wonderful.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our guests who celebrated the turn of the year with us. It was a special night with a fantastic programme and an incomparable atmosphere – accompanied by the music of the JH Swing Band.
